What is the difference between Vintage fortified wine and Tawny fortified wine?

What soil is in Blewitt Springs?

The soil here is Sand over clay. It is quite ancient is some parts it can date back to approx 75 million years.The great advantage to growing vines in this medium is that the fruit struggles and the result is smaller berries with a more intense flavour.Blewitt Springs fruit has a true taste of place.
